Explore the highlights of the magical Three Capes and Tasman Peninsula over three fantastic days of walking and sightseeing.

This itinerary incorporates some of Tasmania’s most spectacular scenery. Enjoy towering clifftops, marvel at amazing rock formations and take a cruise around the spectacular Tasman Peninsula.

Please note: This walk is not the same as the Tasmanian Government’s Three Capes Track.

Tour inclusions:

  • Small group (10 or less), day-pack only walking tour with magnificent walks and sightseeing.
  • Daily guided walks curated to immerse you in the region’s unique landscape, flora and fauna, highlights including Cape Hauy, Fortescue Bay and Cape Raoul.
  • Two talented, experienced, accredited and safety gear equipped guides to drive, care and cook for you throughout the tour.
  • Return transport ex-Hobart, and all tour transfers in our comfortable 12-seater mini-coach with luggage trailer.
  • 3 nights comfortable twin-share accommodation (limited single supplements at additional cost), with ensuites if available and sustainably provided.
  • 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 3 two-course dinners, plus trail mix, nibbles, fresh fruit, snacks, tea and coffee, biscuits / cake and non-alcoholic drinks throughout.

    DAY 1 – Crescent Bay and Mount Brown
    Distance: 9km, 5hrs walking approx. – Grade: 3 – 4 Moderate to Hard
    DAY 2 – Cape Raoul
    Distance: 14km, 6hrs walking approx. – Grade: 3 Moderate
    DAY 3 – Fortescue Bay to Cape Hauy
    Distance: 8km, 5hrs walking approx. – Grade: 3 – 4 Moderate to Hard
    DAY 4 – Wilderness Cruise

    Each day we also provide fruit, snacks, tea and coffee and a nibbles platter.

    Each evening after our days walking, we return back to our accommodation for some time to refresh and enjoy the spectacular scenery at the lodge. Your guides will curate a beautiful nibbles platter for you, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. During this time, they will also conduct a briefing, offering insights into the days experiences and outlining your upcoming adventures. Using a map of the area, your guides will illustrate the various regions and walks we are set to explore in the days ahead.

Additional Information

  • Accommodation

    Our overnight accommodation will be at our unique handpicked lodge. Situated in Port Arthur, amongst native bushland with a view through the trees over Ladies Bay, our log cabins are a short stroll to the beach and have a shared living space, deck and bathroom. Communal dining will take place in our guides open plan cabin.

    Accommodation style: We stay in log style cabins with communal dining area, balcony and views through the trees to Ladies Bay.

    Rooming: Each cabin has one or two bedrooms with a mix of single, twin and queen beds. If you book a Single Supplement, you will have a room to yourself.

    Bathrooms: Each cabin has one bathroom. You will be sharing the bathroom with other guests in your cabin.

    Single Supplement: If you book single supplement this means you will have one bedroom in the two-bedroom cabin and could be sharing the cabin with one or two other guests.

    Other: All towels and linen are provided. Each cabin also has an outdoor balcony setting, kitchen, lounge, TV and lovely bush views. There is a laundry in each cabin.

    Rooming upgrades for a private cabin is subject to availability with the accommodation provider for an additional surcharge. Please contact our team to discuss your options.

  • Guest Notes

    For guests flying out of Hobart on the last night of tour, please don’t book flights before 7pm.

    Single Supplement: We have limited availability for Single Supplement on this tour. Please enquire about availability and additional cost for SS with our reservations team at time of booking. Please note; by booking a SS you will have your own room in a one or two bedroom cabin with shared bathroom and living areas. Not all our accommodations have a private ensuite option.
